Such as Anigrand
Welsh Models.
ummm..
yeah.. stranger/less common versions.
MattP is rather generously sending down some FoxOne and trumpeter instructions for me to scan and post.
Here is an oldie, I was actually going through some of the endless folders and photos I have on my computer. On my journey through time and space I found this old but interesting photo that got me thinking. Maybe, I should follow through on a thought I had in the past to bring...
Hello,
I've been modelling solely in 1/144 for a few years now, this looks like a great place for info and I might get involved with a group build.
Some may know me from other groups, here is some of my work.
Cheers, Sam

It's Sunday evening and the brain is close to mush ...
I'm sort of ashamed to admit I lost my KG144 password about 2 years ago now, and couldnt manage the reset password feature of the old board software. Glad to see everyone still at it.
I havent built a model kit in all that time, but I sure have bought some! :D

Finally I joined this forum after having bookmarked it for more than half a year.
While building a rather large bomber model in 1:72 I needed a break and - just for fun - started one of the Eduard kits, a P-51D in 1:144. I am really...

Ah, yes, Matchbox. 2- and 3-colour plastic, the choice of which often confounded everyone, and panel lines deeper and wider that the Grand Canyon. Loved 'em. If I recall, my first purchase from the series was the , an example of which would be very welcome in 1/144, along with...
Greetings everybody,
My name is Russell (Russ) Dutnell, and although I have heard about Kampgruppe144 for some time now, I just joined and am now a new member.
My first foray in small scale modeling was in 2013 when I made a 1/350 scale diorama of the planes...

Hello everyone from the US. Wishing everyone is staying safe and enjoying this time with our modeling. I started obtaining some 1/144 aircraft kits a few years ago in hopes of building them. Never got around to it until now! I have a few of the TomyTec painted kits and would...
Wanted to thank Martin for allowing me to register, found ya'lls site early into my journey back to my roots so to speak this year and couldn't find the registration button. Was able to email the admin though. :D

Really appreciate it flynavy! There's some great kits there, onto the wishlist! :D
My gateway was a little Herpa 1/200 F/A-18F Super Hornet found for dirt cheap discount in a market in Hong Kong. I found only limited subjects (mostly planes) collecting in 1/200.
Lots of online research later & I'd discovered 1/144 had the...

Hey folks, I've been reading the forum for a couple of years now (since I started scale modelling again) and am glad to finally be able to join.
144th is quite new to me as I mostly did 72nd kits, but space is now an issue for me and enough of the vehicles I'm interested in are...

For some reason the Aussies seem to be up all night! It's a welcome from here in Devon too. Nice to see some smaller air forces get some exposure. I too use rattle came but you do have to be extra careful with the masking.

To all of our newbies, whose skills are blowing us long-timers away, an invitation to join in the current Group Build , which covers the year 1940 . Anything from that year is fair game, so don't think it is just restricted to aircraft. And this one goes the whole year, so...

I didn't mention it, because my Tintin projects are almost all 1/72 (so far), but I've got quite a few of them -
One of the reasons I decided to go with 1/72 scale for those projects is mainly because of the...
My hobby is modeling and I love this scale, I like all kind of subjects and dioramas even I prefer airplanes and sci-fi subjects. At this time my modeling activity is very slowed down due to family business (in a word... kids ;) ) but I still gluing some...

Hi everyone. I've been a long time lurker here, but with the new update to the forum, I can finally participate. I'm not quite sure where to start, so I figured I'd dive right in.
I've been building in 1/144 for a while now, and I count our friend Nils as a major influence in...

This is simply jaw dropping work. Not only the craftsmanship on display but also the imagination required. I discovered your blog last year and really enjoyed it. My favourite is the Texan firebombing.
Thought I'd finally join this forum. I've been back into modelling for a year now. I did some modelling as a teenager, mostly railways but I did build some planes for an air museum on my layout which being N gauge meant 144th scale. These were mostly the Academy...

That's some great stuff Tim! I've used the Pringles lids as well, but I find them murder to paint. Of course, you seem to use them inverted and filled, I just had them right side up and I kept scratching off the paint, to I abandoned the idea. I might have to give it another go...
I'm Marco from Delmenhorst, Northern Germany. Building since 1992, the last 14 year I turned to the only real scale 1/144 ;) I mainly build Airliners (Boeing and Russian types) but in the last years I made more and more military planes. Time by time I got Cars or Tanks...

I didn't make too many photos of my models til now, so I think I should invest some time in finding an appropriate way - size is obviously a matter....
I am Marcin and I live in Poland. I am a fan of modern western military aircraft. Lockheed F / TF-104 Starfighter is my favorite aircraft. I build models in rocks 1/144 and 1/72.

Welcome, Marcin from another Australian! And yes, I've already looked over your lovely blue example. Whilst not a big builder of post-WW2 models, I've always had something for the Starfighter since I was a kid (scarily, not too many years after it was first introduced into the...

It looks like the forum has opened to new users, and I'm proud to be one of the first! My interest in 1/144 started for gaming, but has broadened a bit to include other subjects of interest. I have also collected a few F-Toys and Bandai kits in 1/144 of other subjects (Star Wars...

Hello,
I've been making models off and on for 30 years, mostly for wargaming in the last 20 years. Just over a year ago I got a 3d printer and made a ridiculous number of 1/72 tanks, then switched to 1/72nd airplanes. I realized I'm quickly filling my house so I thought I'd give...
