Yet another kitbash, STEELY DAN* class LRRV

Doesn't matter if it is factual or fictional, if it's out of this world, it goes here!

Yet another kitbash, STEELY DAN* class LRRV

Steely Dan* class inter-system Long Range Reconnaissance Vessel #65.
Vultee BT-13* power unit, 3-9 passenger capacity, nose rail gun, other functions/weaponry cryptic.
The canopy is just a place holder until the carpet monster gives up the original. Well...it could happen...
I'm not as happy with this one as I was with the auxiliary craft posted earlier, but my better half, who usually pays no attention to my modeling, really likes it. Hmn. Go figure.

*Tee hee hee.

Do the producers of shows like Star Trek and The Orville know about you? A role designing and building models for the film industry awaits! ;)

Thanks, I've always admired Matt Jefferies, who designed the original starship Enterprise, as well as the original Klingon cruiser; their elegance was part and parcel of their functionality. Lots of subsequent designs, including the Orville, built on his basic premise but, usually, with just more frosting and less sense of proportion.
