When that big parcel under the Crimble Tree was the big kit you never, ever thought that you'd own and you couldn't wait to open the box and start to gaze at the bits in true awe.
When Crimble was hard chairs and washing up and you just were NOT allowed to start on "that damned thing" until forever! (My uncle understood, parents didn't).

That trip into town, to spend Christmas Money in the real live, honest to God, Model Shop...with all of those exotic American kits.

When Back to School was looming and paint wouldn't dry quick enough.

When Birthday meant something and was yonks off!
