What are you working on this weekend?

If you are not sure where to start posting, here would be a good place!

Yes, saw the footage of the storms in the UK, France, Italy and Spain. There were times I thought I was watching supercells in Tornado Alley. It is bad enough with the second wave of You-Know-What without adding Mother Nature's fury to the mix. Hope everyone survived intact.

Good to see your Production Line continues unabated! And am I seeing the famous "Libyan Clipper" in the upper right quadrant? ;)

Taking a slight break from the 144th BoB stuff, wanted to make something topical, so decided to do a Nagorno-Karabakh Defence Force T72.

Unfortunately not got a suitable kit in 144th so I'm using a 1/87 SDV kit, although having to add my own Explosive Reactive Armour blocks.

Some of the weekend projects....

Fit a new blind in the kitchen

Prep and re-oil the worktops

Start taking down the veg area ( this is mid way)

Discovered how few potatoes the four plants had yielded

it got worse - of the four (young) fruit trees, I got one apple

I also experimented with (not documented):
  • A squash plant this in the end yielded 2 squash all year.
  • A courgette plant did somewhat better yiilding a dozen
  • The tomatoes have also been poor performers this year

and yes, those sheds do need replacing!

Impressive! That looks really good. It’s an unusual camo scheme (almost like it has been involved in a paintballing tournament) but you’ve nailed it.

BD - we all know that all this feverish activity was just putting off the inevitable sorting and alphabetising of the many fridge magnets...

Smeg - it is indeed, and very eagle eyed of you too. I will post a few pictures of her here tomorrow. Just finished this evening.

Hello All,

Sorry been missing in action for quite some time....This weekend had to make room in the cabinet to get these put in.

Then it was a 5 hour flight in MSFS2020 from Adelaide to Kunnunurra. in a TBM 930.

That and other sundry things. One day I will do some actual 1/144 modelling.....

Nice! I’m seriously eyeballing the MS2020 sim. I’ve been into the Il-2 series for years but never owned a civil flight simulator before. Would you recommend it?
