Boeing 747-8 "Wedding Belle"

Postby nils » Sat Aug 26, 2017 11:10

this is one of the most special projects i have ever built.
took me over 6 months to complete, but it was worth it.

the idea came to me when i wanted to build something special for my wedding, as a tablepiece.
my fiancé (now wife) thought this was a good idea and i started right away.

yesterday, i revieled the model to family and friends on my wedding party and they were very impressed with the result, some say i should make it a bussiness to build these for other weddings.

kit: Revell Boeing 747-8
decals: kit (stenciling) and DIY

Very impressive. especially the portrait on the tail.

I also think you could sell similar pieces.

Nice! Congratulations Nils - all the very best.

That's also a very handsome 747. Definitely try your hand building them for weddings. Making the hobby pay for itself is the dream!

Veel geluk samen!

What a nice idea. But definitely not what-iff, this is the real thing. Good idea to choose the 747-800 a majestic plane if you ask me. Nice touch with the registration also.
