By the dint of luck and persuasion I have an early edition of Radek's latest master piece.
The Meteor F8

Here is what you get,
Beautifully moulded and a nice simple breakdown.

Decals too.....

This is how it turned out, no filler was harmed in the making of this model.

The model represents an early F8 with single tabs on the ailerons and small air intakes. The only thing missing is the extended chutes for the ammunition links.

Well done Radek

And we're glad you did! Looks like a really nice piece of work. If I manage to save up enough gold sovereigns, I have plans for a RAAF 77 Sqn machine in Korea (and all my fellow Aussies know exactly which particular machine I'm talking about).

Beautiful BigReg! Thanks for taking the time to post. I have a T7 on the verge of completion which I will post later this week (as the third trainer in my still incomplete post!). Parts breakdown unsurprisingly similar - I was impressed by the clarity of the resin canopy on mine. No fit issues for me either, although I did have to sand off the guns which were very rarely fitted to the T7.

Looks really good. The only Meteor model in 1/144 I have is the F-Toys F.1 so being able to have some additional versions will be a big plus....

Also, this is most likely the last new resin kit from Miniwing. So far it seems that all new kits will indeed be done using injection molding and only re-releases of old kits will be in resin.

This is great news. Not that there is anything wrong with miniwing's resin but I believe most of kampfgruppe's finest have a (serious) plastic addiction.

I did send in a request for a plastic aircraft, i hope it will be manufactured some day. The meteor looks great. I already have two welsh F8's and two Hong Kong F4's together with miniwing's meteors I can build up a squadron of Dutch meteors.
