1/144 Tanks

What's in the box and is it any good?

1/144 Tanks

Postby DaPhantom » Mon Jan 15, 2018 21:43

When I became a member, this board was mostly armor, but now it's gone the other way to planes. I on the other hand still believe in 1/144 in both WW2 and modern. I use Micro Machines Military to help fill in the gaps not cover in 1/144. I'm not talking about company size but Battalions of tanks. In modern armor! I'm over 1,000 tanks from WTM 06. With WW2 with both sides and I'm over 1,000.
Yes I'm also into modern Helicopters as well. Around 300 or more.

what I'm looking for are members that are still into ARMOR.

Whilst 2017 was my quietest year on the AFV front (actually, it was quiet full-stop modelwise ), I do have 170+ of the little darlings on display and a further 35 in the stash. A fair proportion of the latter are white metal and predominantly Arrowhead Miniatures, with a few Dragon injection-moulded items and several resin kits (yes, mostly Fairy Kikaku) making up the balance. Hopefully, 2018 will see a number of these make it onto the shelf. If you go as far as trucks, utility vehicles, etc., don't forget that some of these are fair game in the year-long RAF Centenary Group Build.
