Ok It's 1/72......back to the roots

As someone growing up in the 60's 1/72 was it really..... Airfix Airfix Airfix Revel etc.... then along came those Japanese interlopers.

This is my interp of an FAA Avenger from the Hasegawa Kit of an Airframe deployed to HMS Indomitable in the Indo Pacific in Dec 44.

Gorgeous! And thanks for being so honest. With your skills, you could have feigned that it was the F-Toys or Minicraft Avenger and I wouldn't have doubted you. ;)

Thanks, currently on the workbench is another Hasegawa kit (Their B-24D). I MUST crack open an AFV club Sea King, but not in the right frame of mind at the moment.... Maybe tomorrow.....

I just spotted this. Wonderful job! Fantastic finish!
I too started with 1:72 and still do a kit in that scale now and then. My stash has plenty of them to build...
