You do get a 1/72 with full internals and a "bonus" !/144 Ho-229

and, think I'll pass on this one - but there was a time would have paid this for two resin 1/144 kits - so, horses for courses?

Brengun already has the Ho-229 out in 1:144 so I don't know if this would be a seller for the 1:144 community. I can see the 1:72 fraternity getting it and then sell the 1:144 version off, just like we do with Anigrand bonus kits.

I do like Jumblies Models, they tend to be the only UK distributor that occasionally sells Minicraft kits at affordable prices. I stocked up on a coupld of PBY/Liberators and Dakotas recently.

Zoukei-Mura do some superb kits in 1/32 and 1/48, with full internal detail being one of the big selling points. Interesting that they've now tackled 1/72 and 1/144. If the latter also had the internal construction of its three larger scale counterparts, THEN some of us might have been tempted. As it is, I reckon you're spot on, Mike. It will be similar to the case of the HK Models 1/32 Meteor, where some buyers did offer the 1/144 "extra" online.

All three of them

A 'skeletal' Ho-229 would have been an interesting proposition, i think peoples stashes of the Ho-229 from Popy or the Brengun Ho-229 + P/E will suffice for most!

Unless it was reasonably priced (i.e. not requiring taking out a second mortgage), I'd agree with you.

I heard about the Meteor but couldn't afford a large kit, just for the smaller one. Can you remember who was selling the 'extra' Meteor?

cheers

To be honest, I never personally saw any offered so was relying on feedback from others. And I think BD99's comment may not necessarily be based upon concrete data ... ;)

Agree. It was a Mark IV, which nicely complemented F-Toys (Mk I) and Miniwing (Mk T7 and 8). :(
