ok, i'll have a go at this GB, even though it wont be easy.
there arent that many biplane kits out here, except for the zvezda Po-2.
so i have decided to go for a little something more chalenging, and scratchbuild one

its going to be a challenge, i havent done scratchbuilding in a long time, but i do have a good supply of styrene sheets.

the biplane i have decided to build is a Stampe & Vertongen SV.4b, a biplane built and developed right here in Belgium.
before im gonna start building, im gonna find some 3-view drawings and scale them down to 1/144 size.

With a Gipsy Major engine, the front end looks predictably like a Tiger Moth, and from there it is considerably different. Being a scratchbuild and with a range of exotic paint schemes to choose from, I am going to follow this one with great interest.

Scratchbuilding a complete biplane? I look forward to seeing this one. If nothing else, I hope to see how you build a wing, as I have a SRAM Avro 504K lacking an upper one.
