A few of my dioramas

Be it a tree, a bridge, a building or a nodding dog, this is the place!

A few of my dioramas

Here are a few of my diorama bases: I haven't fixed models or figurines on them, as I use them for my photos (by the way, I've updated the Kubinka 1/144 post posting better pictures in place of the old ones).

This is CGD's rubbled city square: actually I haven't used it very much because for the kind of photos I prefer (same-level shoots)
it's difficult to find a decent angle.
You'd need more buildings and ruins in the background.

This comes from Metal Troops: I've reworked the river water and added grass and vegetation on the banks. You'll see it as a background in several of my Soviet light tanks posts pictures (soon).

Another bridge, this is from CGD.

I've only added a bit of grass and sand. It really looks good!

After the 'Tank in the lead has been hit' diorama, I've prepared another diorama base using Pegasus houses and lots of snow

And this is my runway. Lots of sand, dry grass and bushes.
Perhaps CGD might find it somehow familiar...

Suspiciously familiar. Very nice. Guess my design philosophy is successful - allow others' imagination to build on it.

BTW, about the town ruin. I myself left the buildings detached. And while taking "ground level" photos. I'll take away the front buildings and put them behind the buildings on the far side. Depending on where the camera is pointing, having another building showing a bit between two others makes the town a lot more bigger. And of course, photo backdrop helps too. :D

Nicely done and I love the different vehicles only if there were some more Modern Softskins to go with Aircraft and Helo dios.....Just wishful thinking :?:
