Mark's Pit-Road Victor

To celebrate the Centenary of the Royal Air Force, welcome to our first year-long Group Build. With the amalgamation of the Royal Flying Corps and Royal Naval Air Service on 1 April 1918, the RAF is the oldest air force on the planet, so there is plenty of scope in the Build. Anything RAF-related goes … aircraft, vehicles, boats, personnel, you name it.
Runs from 1 January to 31 December 2018 … no extensions!

Hi,

This one is now done...

Went for a satin final coat - tone down the gloss just a touch.

Some final notes:
- The exhaust tubes were different lengths - had to trim 2 of them for them to fit when inserting them at the end
- Did some light weathering of engine access areas and control surfaces. Looking at the photos, I forgot to do the rudder - might fix this
- You get blade antennas in the kit - though these are really chunky. Should probably replace these with card.

All in all - another really nice building experience from GWH/Pit Road.

I'm now missing only one of the 3 V-bombers in my collection - tempted to try a Valiant!
