Oddly enough, the Israeli postal service released some commemorative stamps in March this year, one of which depicts Spitfire "White 14". One problem. The series is entitled "Fighter JETS in the Israeli Air Force". The last time I looked, the Mark IX had a propeller!

Here are the others in the set:
Spitfire Mk IX and F-35I Lightning II
A-4H Skyhawk
Mirage IIICJ
Mystere IVA

Nice set for those who combine philately with modelling. ;)
OTB ...
GB13 - Late 298 (Aeronavale), Bf109E-3a Strela (Bulgarian AF), ČKD LT vz.38 Praga (Slovakian Army)
Shelf of Shame - F-100D-20-NA (Don Schmenk, USAF), Me262A-1a/U4 (Prototype), Ju87B-2 (Hungarian AF)

I made a new wood base for my Spitfire and changed the blurred base with a new one by Heroes Models. Checking the post I saw all the old photos are missed (f***ing host!). I must search in my HD to replace them.

Anyway that's the final version:

Wow. Even sharper on that base. So nicely finished.

Beautiful build! Also, thanks for sharing the secrets of making a really good prop-disc.

That looks incredible. How did you manage the white text? It looks beautiful against the timber base.

Thank you to all for the kind comments. Honestly i'm very happy with the result. Maybe, the next time, I will place the clear rod in a less visible place (where the wing cross the fuselage for example). In the next in-flight model (that I hope to finish soon)I will try to improve this part.

I used a mask cutted with plotter. I push the definition and manageability at its limit. It was very very fraglie, for this reason I destroyed three masks before finish.
