Tim, as you can see from BD99's post that RetrokiT have already covered the Zwilling conversion. And, believe it or not, they weren't the first to do so in 1/144. I have a similar set of resin parts from a US company that went by the rather inappropriate name of CatHouse Models. Type that into a search engine now and outside references to the company by Yours Truly on this forum, you don't get anything vaguely resembling the central wing section of a He111Z! :P

Whilst on RetrokiT (yes, this IS the way it is written), I thoroughly recommend a visit to their website by any of our newer members thinking about either improving details or converting certain aircraft. I have a couple of their resin conversions for the Me262 and they are top quality castings which fit perfectly. I'm sure some of my colleagues here would agree.
OTB ...
GB13 - Late 298 (Aeronavale), Bf109E-3a Strela (Bulgarian AF), ČKD LT vz.38 Praga (Slovakian Army)
Shelf of Shame - F-100D-20-NA (Don Schmenk, USAF), Me262A-1a/U4 (Prototype), Ju87B-2 (Hungarian AF)

GRA Models do a (cheaper) version too, although the Retrokit though more expensive, is much nicer with more detial.

Got one today on a bit of a whim from the local hobby store. At $35 Australian its about on par with your average Mark I kit around here.
There's obviously a few more local 1/144-scale modellers than us, F_IV. The Fw200 is sold out at Metro.
A few more arrived in their city store the other day. Only $34Au too which is cheaper than what I've seen online.

There's four more at Box Hill, but none had a price tag on them. $34 is reasonable, especially when the Roden kits are sitting right next to the stack of Mark I kits with their rather less desirable price tags.

The He111 is appearing for sale

I'm thinking of painting one up in the lovely Mediterranean scheme.

Found some sprue shots here:

https://militarymodel.com.ua/modeli/avi ... etail.html

Surface detail looks finer than the Condor although the glazing could perhaps be thinner.

Armoury would have had about 20 decal options on a sheet that big!

Yep. What's on the sheet I probably can put together from the spares box several times. Roden obviously has a soft spot for aftermarket decal makers

Funnily enough, as I was agreeing with F_IV's comments about the more refined panel lines than the Condor, my focus also went to that decal sheet and, having recently completed one of the SCW Bf109B's, Armory was the first company I thought of, too. The extensive use of the He111H-6 (and some other sub-variants where the external differences are minimal) cries out for a swag of 3rd party decal sheets. Print Scale does multiple sheets in 1/72 and, given their past history, I reckon it's odds on that they will scale at least some of these down for the Roden kit.

Yes, the spares box could well be your friend too, although unit insignia often appearing on the 111 might be more difficult to source.
