Eduard P-47 bubbletop

Another reviving of an exemplary Platz kit. Release date July.

Some great schemes too - fills some gaps in what other aftermarket decal producers offer, not just repeating the usuals. Oh Jonnie is on my radar.

Decals look brilliant - more complete than the Eduard P-51 decal sheet (for lazy so and so’s like me who welcome decal invasion stripes and stencilling).

Parts - masks are always helpful.

Great news I think. Bravo Eduard.

Agreed. A goodly range of decal options to augment those Jugs already out there on people's shelves, although somewhere at the back of my frazzled brain, I do recall "Whooooooooooo..." getting some exposure, possibly as an WKC VS7 option.

And you can hardly go wrong with a Platz kit. Thumbs up indeed, Mr Eduard! :D
OTB ...
GB13 - Late 298 (Aeronavale), Bf109E-3a Strela (Bulgarian AF), ČKD LT vz.38 Praga (Slovakian Army)
Shelf of Shame - F-100D-20-NA (Don Schmenk, USAF), Me262A-1a/U4 (Prototype), Ju87B-2 (Hungarian AF)

Yes whoooooo was the VS7 Special. I built it here - the decals actually behaved fine and bedded down properly but the combo of Eduard decals and Platz kit will be hard to beat.

I sympathies with your frustrations at e-jobbing. I’ve been required to be in the office throughout and count myself quite fortunate in many respects.

For gun bay covers wrong structure - could be some detail for the inboard wheel bay?

Anyway, nice set, super kit and even better decals - I'll definitely go for at least one!
