I'm in my late 50s and have built models since I was 10, starting, like many others, with the Airfix Series 1 and 2 kits. Later I have built armour, ships and aircraft in different scales, but since 6 years I have almost exclusively concentrated on 144 scale aircraft. Focus (currently . . ) is on '50s/'60s early jets, helis and late props. I'm also interested in the history and technology of aircraft, and other kinds of technical equipment. No wargaming.
