About the ki-43 it was a test to use metal template in camo..
In ki84 the test was use primer(mr surfacer) > silver paint gunze > Automobile varnish> gunze Mr green paint
wait dry.. use this nail polisher first it remove green paint.. but let to much scratches.....

Since I buyed the Sweet ki-43, I thinked never would touch the ftoys or.. the older LS kit.
This is old original LS-1/144 ki-43 it came with ki-84 hayate box..
But I´m testing a way to paint japanese camo.. this time was with airbrush and tamiya tape and alexen metalic...

I like it!
Very nice result from a not so great kit (imho).
Great work on the engine exhausts, landing gear, pitot tubes and the detail on the wing pylons.

I know how you feel. Thought I was a pretty good builder till I saw the Michaelangelos posting on the forum :mrgreen:

This doesn't really show a much different paint job, I'm afraid... it's basically a Revell re-issue of the Dragon kit with slightly different decals (and sharper print IMO), so maybe this is useful to help decide between the old Dragon and the new Revell issue.
