I have converted peters Anigrand Bonus Kit page from 'frontpage' to proper(ish) HTML.
In addition, I have started to extend the catalogue to include the kits released after the scope of peters page ended.
I am hoping that - people can help out, to push this over the line.

Some interesting proposals there. I recall seeing from one of those Filipino companies, formerly on evilBay. It was supposedly 1/144 and was very nicely constructed and finished if the photos were any indication; I do recall the national markings being simply white discs, but...
Hi all,
Below is an ongoing list of all the 1/144 Japanese Gasaphon aircraft kits that have been made.
There is a Japanese site (Military Museum) that also lists these kits with pictures here:

Somehow I managed to post the same message twice... 🙄
If you have begun your 1/144 Bomber collection, or are considering to subscribe to get all the models (an offer available to French, Spanish, Italians and –recently- British 1/144 fans) here is my review.
here is an useful link: (french edition, with images of almost every...

With our recent influx of new members, a timely reminder that diecasts can augment your 1/144 collection very nicely, even if you end up filling all the obvious gaps and repainting the things. If you are looking for some good starting point, the Altaya/IXO models (and several...
I thought it might be handy to have a listing of available aircraft by country.

Yes, we can officially remove all FE-Resin links. The website hung around for a number of years after the company's demise and the birth of from the ashes. As we know, some of the range made the transition across to Miniwing initially, including the Avia B-35 and the majority of...

Merci bien. So - very briefly - had a look into the differences. The principal one is as you note - the dihedral on Roc replacing the straight wings with upturned wingtips on the Skua. There are also a number of differences with engines and obviously rear fuselage cut down...
I want to compile a list of all the resin aircraft manufacturers both current and old.
Please add any extra detail such as if still in business, what kits they produced if known, quality of kit, decals, etc.
Kami de koro koro (now Piccolo Model Factory) have a seperate listing...

On reflection, I really do not think my is an Eiriksson...and prefer to return to my original belief that it was a product of someone who once worked for Corgi.
That said, I have to say that the Eiriksson stuff is very attractive.

No.19, apparently released Feb 14 - 1/144 Nakajima C3N1
'During the formative years of Japan's air forces, she purchased some types for evaluation (like the Seversky 2PA-B3 and the Dewoitine D.510 which some contend helped in the development of the Zero) and she allowed her...
I'm trying to build up my collection of unmade Welsh Models RAF post war kits but there are a few that I don't know anything about. This means I can't search for them to obtain.
Does anyone know of a full listing, or know which kits were allocated the following numbers?
This was an impulse purchase when buying some kits at Kingkit, never seen this kit before or come across the prototype.
While broswing my Japanese Aircraft in Foreign Use book I found the profile of this plane and it seemed like an interesting one to model. Technically the...
Another Academy B-1B Lancer but in a bit of a what if SIOP SAC scheme. They would have been introduced in this scheme if not for the on/off nature of the B-1 project. Not particularly fussed by a monochrome grey scheme that these birds are in so something...
Finally the finished Antonov An-22 from A&A Models in scale 1/144.
The 22 was a development of the late 1950s. The Soviet Union needed a bigger transport plane for the supplement of the An-8 and An-12. The Result was the world's largest turboprop-powered aircraft. It’s named...

Marco, nobody can ever accuse you of doing things by halves! Another huge beastie, and what a superb finish! It's only in my dreams that I ever achieve such a uniformly smooth finish with white ... pity I have to wake up.
Started a new Eduard's MiG 21 , jugoslav denomination L-15 , this time is the M version .
Think I'll modify some details on the outside but the major work will be inside - I want to turn on the engine ...
As the first thing, I had to make new turbine exhaust ( piece No A 4)...
Hello everyone!
This model has been finished in December 2020, but photos and editing dragged on a bit. The kit is Mikro Mir, which I really like and highly recommend. I'd venture to call it the crispiest and most delicate short-run kit I've seen. Mikro Mir's Tu-22 comes close,...

with the Eindecker finished, it is time to start another project. The next subject will be W. G. Barker's Sopwith Camel, the most successful fighter plane of the WWI.

I have an indecent number of unbuilt Platz and Eduard Hellcats. I do have a niggling sense of guilt about this, buried under my hard, steely exterior (ahem, tries to look piercingly into the middle distance).
This tripped over into angst and soul searching when Platz...

Thank you! That's very kind of you to say. :D
David I have a lot of fun making these mini temporary dioramas - it's a very therapeutic antidote to pretending to be a responsible adult!

Currently I'm working on a Zvezda Il-2 Shturmovik.
Sofar I hollowed out the canopy,
...dug a hole in the fuselage for the cockpit bay and carved a recess in the nose for the intake,
...and spent hours on turning the rather basic landing gear into something more...

Oops: I had my references crossed: it wasn't F-IV his Tempest build that inspired me to thin down the Il-2 canopy, but his instead !
I guess I should confess that I started this model about four years ago by hollowing out the canopy. After that I put it back in its box.
(No...
An elderly Breguet XIX is prepared for a training flight, while businessman Giorgos Koutarellis is given a tour of the airfield and taken to see one of the Avia 534s he purchased and gifted to the Greek air force the year before.
the second one to be finished was this Revell 1/144 F4U Corsair. built OOB.

Nice little trio! I also like the old Revell kits and it can be very rewarding to make something representable out of the little you get in the kit. And I agree, the US models are the best of the lot.

Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat, as flown by the US Navy in 1943.
the kit is the old Revell Microwings 1/144 Wildcat, built OOB.

I agree with Greg, the Wildcat was the nicest of all the Revell micro wings.

Very nice, Nils.
This was the first kit I ever built, in 1977, more or less.
Very fond memories of it. It survived many battles in my bedroom and I think I still have the remains of it somewhere.
I have one of the re-issues in my stash waiting to be built. :)
