I know Retrokit has cockpits for the Mirage F1 and 2000, as well as Damocles pods, Remora pods, and the triple launchers with missiles.
Rise Models has Mirage 2000 exhausts, Centerline fuel tanks for Mirage F.1, and also the triple launchers with the missiles that seem pretty...
If you have begun your 1/144 Bomber collection, or are considering to subscribe to get all the models (an offer available to French, Spanish, Italians and –recently- British 1/144 fans) here is my review.
here is an useful link: (french edition, with images of almost every...

I picked up an Atlas Il-4 many years ago from the late Russ Chmela. Russ had done some work on the diecast, making it look considerably better than the original, so whilst I was interested in this recent release, the Blenheim and Tu-2 were of far more interest. The former sadly...

I know where you are coming from. I have Kami's Westland-Hill Pterodactyl and I'm trying to decide where some struts start and stop. On the D.510 build, I almost threw out a small part thinking it was residue. Times like those, I wish Kami's clean-up was more like Anigrand or...
I have converted peters Anigrand Bonus Kit page from 'frontpage' to proper(ish) HTML.
In addition, I have started to extend the catalogue to include the kits released after the scope of peters page ended.
I am hoping that - people can help out, to push this over the line.

It happens, I stumbled acriss a very useful and well constructed document for a project underway at work.
Only to realise I'd written it myself two years ago.. No recollection of it at all...
BD99, I can answer your query about the quality of Anigrand castings as I have the said Daimler-Benz Projekt B from way back and a fair few newer models from the range. Categorically, the answer is yes, they have definitely improved, both in the level of detailing and the ease...
Hi all,
Below is an ongoing list of all the 1/144 Japanese Gasaphon aircraft kits that have been made.
There is a Japanese site (Military Museum) that also lists these kits with pictures here:
Clicking on the links on the left will take you to a seperate page with pictures and...

I thought it might be handy to have a listing of available aircraft by country.

Yes, we can officially remove all FE-Resin links. The website hung around for a number of years after the company's demise and the birth of from the ashes. As we know, some of the range made the transition across to Miniwing initially, including the Avia B-35 and the majority of...
I want to compile a list of all the resin aircraft manufacturers both current and old.
Please add any extra detail such as if still in business, what kits they produced if known, quality of kit, decals, etc.
Kami de koro koro (now Piccolo Model Factory) have a seperate listing...

On reflection, I really do not think my is an Eiriksson...and prefer to return to my original belief that it was a product of someone who once worked for Corgi.
That said, I have to say that the Eiriksson stuff is very attractive.
Here is a list of all the Fairy aircraft kits that are known.

No.19, apparently released Feb 14 - 1/144 Nakajima C3N1
'During the formative years of Japan's air forces, she purchased some types for evaluation (like the Seversky 2PA-B3 and the Dewoitine D.510 which some contend helped in the development of the Zero) and she allowed her...
I'm trying to build up my collection of unmade Welsh Models RAF post war kits but there are a few that I don't know anything about. This means I can't search for them to obtain.
Does anyone know of a full listing, or know which kits were allocated the following numbers?
Last of my shelf of doom completions.... Roden's nice AC-47 Spooky Gunship. From what I remember (it was started about 3 years ago!) it was a nice kit to put together, the only problems being the decals which were horrendous! I think most Roden kits suffer from this...

Very nice job!
Remember one of my first a bit more expensive Airfix kits ( series 4) was the 1/72 DC- 3 gunship. Looked quite similar colorwise, but by aeons not as clean as yours!
Hello all. I've been some time in hibernation but I'm back on the modelling bench now. I thought I'd wrap up some unfinished 'shelf of doom' projects first before tackling anything new. First of which are these two Sweet gems that were 90% complete for about 3 years. I do love...

Another box of fabric wing Hurricanes duly ordered! Thanks for the tip off 👍
As already written somewhere else, I reanimated a started model of the Revell Tornado kit after some years. Those kits are cheap and readily available, so no need to completely tear it apart. Besides, they are very good kits. Only things I could imagine an improvement are the...

Nicely done, and great to see a (relatively). Modern subject in something other than great (and isn't a show pony /tiger scheme)
So I saw a three-piece of the Revell Micro Wings series (formerly Revell Mini Series )floating around on eBay with nobody willing to bid... I dedided to give it a shot just to have some cheap kits to try some stuff on that I could easily bin rather than ruining a better model....

Eager to see how your treatment of the rear fuselage will look with the paint on!
And the radiator is looking really good!
Because I used the two different Platz molds I made a few reference photos for a possible future build.
Exhausts are from Mach3. For the pitot I ended up using the F-16 pitot...

Really should have commented on this one earlier. A superb model in one of my favourite F-4 schemes. Seeing this was actually the inspiration to get my LS kit finished off so thanks for that 👍
Another shelf of doom project finished off tonight. The LS F-4E which I built OOB but I opted to model a wraparound SEA camo machine by using some spares box low viz stars and bars. I don't think they're 100% accurate but finding the exact type in 1/144 is almost impossible....

Thanks very much for the kind comments. I'm not too sure about the sparrows (i think they're meant to be sparrows?) on the pylons but that's all the weapons that were supplied. I really do need to invest in some aftermarket weapons for future builds.
So I wanted to have an easy kit inbetween to relax a little. A kit where the decals wouldn't crumble, the parts would fit more or less, and I wouldn't have to build anything from scratch. My choice was from Revell.
Of course, the cover artwork shows the Canadian CF-188A in its...

Speaking of modifications - I had been thinking about the main gear. While it doesn't look bad ooB, it is kinda simplified. In the end I decided to add a few somethings - here you can see the main gear legs and the missiles with the stripes painted on:
June 2016, the Iraqi Air Force carried out its first bombing missions against the jihadists of Daesh near Nawija in Federal Iraq using Mk82 bombs dropped from the Czech built L-159 Alca.
One of the brave pilots signed up to this mission, aware of the horrific results should...
Late 1944 somewhere in the Eastern German borderland. A hot shot* Soviet P-39 pilot is showing off his airfield to a female officer on a Kettenkrad that he found abadoned at this former Luftwaffe air field - when he sees one of the new La-7 models parked up and just has to take...

Really good weathering on both the aircraft and the motorcycle.
On to my next build, Platz's excellent A-4 kit to be finished in USMC markings. I've build a few of these kits at this point and thought this time I'd go all out with the aftermarket sets. I'll be using the following on this build, hopefully I can do it justice:

As if the model you are building wasn't amazing enough, those self-printed parts that you are showing here look absolutely on par with many aftermarket suppliers. I'll take 12 of each! :D Nah, but seriously: At this quality level, you could easily sell them. Who is Shapeways,...
Not a new build but I have now incorporated this prior build into a mini vignette in order to setup some competition for Tim 😁
I recently discovered that I could buy, at least here in N. America, little display boxes intended to showcase your collection of ice hockey pucks. This...

Hahaha, this is so cute! This aircraft looks like something out of a comic, and yet it's real. That's another absolutely impeccable job from you - and one where I really missed the habitual size comparison coin because I know that this aircraft is tiny! I love the oil...
