You shouldn't expect to find anything about track conversion in a tactical game, only in grand-strategic ones.
Both these two classic Avalon Hill's boardgames (Russian Front and Russian Campaign -the latter now re-edited by GMT) feature track conversion rules and markers....

Some Arrowhead Miniatures do have apertures, others don't. From what I can see, Jeff has definitely gone with the apertures on more recent releases (e.g. the superb Scammel Tank Transporter), though unless you've watched the range grow over the years, you'd be hard-pressed at...
