There were 31 votes in total for GB19. Of these, 9 votes went to each of Falklands War and Flying Boats so, with 13 votes going elsewhere, we're off to a tiebreaker ... yet again.

The Flying Clog is very definitely a flying boat. It may not be the most aesthetically pleasing example ever to grace the skies, but it is certainly unique in its appearance. Pretty hard to confuse it with anything else.

The GB18 forum is created and I've christened it with background to my first contribution when we get underway. Time waits for no modeller, etc., etc. Feel free to start adding your own threads and, of course, populating the Previous Builds with your existing wonders from 1942....

With GB15 winding down and several incredible Desert Delights in the Finished Builds, time to start thinking about GB16. We could go back and tap the well that was the list of suggestions for GB15, but I suspect some of you now have other ideas for this next group build. Happy...

OK, it is now official. Anything but Planes won in a canter, so any GB aircraft for the next three months will have to be resin, vacforms, diecasts, etc. Anyone posting an injection-moulded aeroplane will have their modelling knives confiscated! :P

It had to happen! Not one but two dead heats! :shock:

Anyway, as proposed last week when this looked like a possibility, I have activated two new polls for GB14 and GB15, each featuring only the two topics that received the most votes in the original polls. Here they are ......

Postage US$15...... all up in AUD it has cost $78. He deals in US$ so you are going to be hit up pretty hard. but I did buy 2, even so it's still $39AUD with postage a model.

Following on with a suggestion from Ian Cowley, you can all start to ponder the topic for Group Build 10 which we could run immediately after the cessation of the Cold War GB (i.e. 1st July).
