ok, i'll have a go at this GB, even though it wont be easy.
there arent that many biplane kits out here, except for the zvezda Po-2.
so i have decided to go for a little something more chalenging, and scratchbuild one :shock:

its going to be a challenge, i havent done...

Well, it is fair to say I had a change of heart. Well, multiple changes of heart, to be honest. I swayed back and forth between one of my nine Avia B-534s and my sole Polikarpov Po-2. In the end, I have decided that my first effort in GB6 will be one of my pair of F-Toys' Fiat...

While the good folks at Armory are trying to figure out what became of the Polikarpov I-15 I ordered from them back in April, I thought I'd have a go at something else as I wait for the matter to be resolved.

So - as I said somewhere else, I'm going to take it easy on this GB as I'm starting a new job and don't know what my time commitments are going to be like. I have a few candidates for biplanes however, first on the list being the Grumman J2F6/OA-12A Duck.

To my eyes, a biplane looks naked without rigging. To be honest, if you stood far enough away from a real Sopwith Camel, far enough so that it looked like a 1/144 model, I doubt you'd see very little of the real rigging, so with that observation in mind, feel free to skip...
