Due to various combinations of circumstances, I significantly slowed down my work on the models, the real ones, so the question is what and how much I will end up in group build.

I normally model submarines (which are actually aircraft albeit moving through a thicker fluid than air) in the classic 'full hull on brass pegs on a block of wood' style.

OK to be fair that's 1 x 1/144 and 2 x 1/150 but in the circumstances, 1/150 is near as damit!

At over £89.00 its too expensive for a 1/144 kit that I would have only limited interest in but it may be of interest to some of you.

Thomas at Tea and tank highlighted an interesting 1/44 vessel that is available as a bonus with a (Del Prado (or equivalent)) monthly issue of 1/1250 ships.
With some additional modeling to it and a lick of paint, it would probably turn out a nice looking boat!?
