I've embellished the exhaust outlets with slices of plastic tube. This brings the model in-line with the drawings of the real thing.
Speaking of the real thing, it was 100% CGI, which creates a problem for the modeller trying to build a realistic model, especially when trying to replicate the 'busy' areas of the craft.
When models are used for filming, all manner of greeblies are used to enhance areas of the model. These are often bits of standard tank and other vehicle kits.
So, the caster of this model, a certain genius by the name of Alfred Wong, has used artistic modeller's licence and added his own greeblies, to enhance the model's 'busy' area around the engine;
