The Platz P-51D is much more refined and detailed, but the Crown offering is definitely one of the better offerings from their stable.

In 2002 I build the ki-44 , J2m , ki-46...
now 21 years later.. in a glass cabinet.. far from sunlight ,but under artificial eletrical lamps..
the red hinomarus get faded..
strange other decals from other kits not have same fade..
The heat and smash canopies also get yellow .... like the oz mods canopies..
