Panzer Depot and Co

After noticing that Panzer Depot main site doesn't work anymore (it is online but thereare no payment options ater you have your cart ready and go to checkout) I've contacted them and got this reply:

"We would like to inform you about the relocation of the Business of our Panzer Depot Modeling Shop.
Our business will be moved to the Ebay platform due to the VAT taxation of EU countries. All the Ebay platforms can provide the VAT tax collection service. When the amount of order is below US$250.0 (includes the shipping cost), the Ebay platform will collect the VAT tax for the EU countries. If the amount of the order is above US$250.0 (includes the shipping cost), the VAT tax will be collected by the local posting service when the parcel is delivered.

Below are our shops on the Ebay platform.

1. The Panzer Depot Ebay Shop (The 1/144 painted models and figures of WWII AFVs)
https://www.ebay.com/str/panzerdepot

2. The Waffen144 Ebay Shop (The 1/144 painted & unpainted models and figures of the post war AFVs)
https://www.ebay.com/str/waffen144

3. The Action Model Ebay Shop (The 1/144 model kits of the post war AFVs under Kamiya Brand)
https://www.ebay.com/str/bigdippermodels

4. The Kamiya Model Ebay Shop (The 1/144 model kits of the WWII AFVs under Kamiya Brand)
https://www.ebay.com/str/kamiyamodel

5. The Blitz144 Model Ebay Shop (The 1/144 model kits of all AFVs)
https://www.ebay.com/str/blitz144shop"

If, like me, you're interested in 1/144 vehicles and soldiers/crews for your vehicles and dioramas you already know several of them (Kamiya, Waffen 144, especially Blitz144... many very interesting items there- and I believe their models are truly original creations): what's REALLY interesting is that they are connected.

That is interesting when George at Panzer Depot first started up (I suppose we are talking 10'ish years ago) he wouldn't sell his items unpainted (or in kit form). Curious that over the years he has set up various brands that do just that. I suspected some overlap across these eBay stores and now we know, oddly some of these items do randomly appear on various AliExpress sites but not in a coherent or consistent way - so, may be just resellers? There were some doubts as to the origin of certain items but in recent years there has been a lot more original content and use of new techniques.

There are some items in the grey resin that I would like in the new sharper orange printed versions.

Many thanks for this, moresby. I had noticed the Hong Kong connection a while ago but had always thought each trader was independent. BD99, I bought a couple of the Panzer Depot releases shortly after George started advertising and had heard the same tale. Whilst the finish is often more than acceptable on Panzer Depot AFVs, there comes the time when we'd prefer to do the painting ourselves and I'm so glad George realised this.

And boy, is there some variety available? ;)

Curiously I cannot see any items for sale in each shop - does anyone know what setting I have on which might explain this?

Here is a twist, on my PC I see all of the EBAY listing, on my phone I get nothing!

Looks like I'll need to dig into the settings too.

Ah that must be it. I haven’t been able to look on my Pc yet. But weird that the app would exclude listings at all.

I can view them on an unlogged in website on my phone, then click 'open on app' and it displays that item only, but then won't let you view the rest of the shop. All very strange!
