Nice work, Luis. Some German railway engineer was clearly spending too much time studying medieval history! :P
OTB ...
GB13 - Late 298 (Aeronavale), Bf109E-3a Strela (Bulgarian AF), ČKD LT vz.38 Praga (Slovakian Army)

Funny reply, Smeg!

I remember to watch it in an ancient documentary from the world war II when I was a kid, and I ever want to do it in scale. I want to paint in his shield the motto:
"Hier beginnt der Arsch der welt!", clearly this is the last to go out.

Thanks

Luis

Hi all.

This -lazy- week, I thought I'm desperately needed for a base to my recently arrived armored trains, and his future coming brothers.

I'm designing railroad tracks to mount them appropiately.

This week I'll begin the BP-42 Kommandowagen, I swear!

Hi all.

This weekend I've upload (at last!) the KommandoWagen to continue my design of BP-42 german WWII armored train.

Today is available in 1/72 and 1/148 scales. HO and 1/160 coming soon, as I did with the G-Wagen, LOCO and Tenders.

Hi.

The german BP-42 composition is as follows:

Image

Simetric from the locomotive in the center:

LOCO-DONE!
Tender (in front of the loco there's a spare tender, used sometimes as infirmary)-DONE!
Geschutz-Wagen (one tower w/ howitzer)-DONE!
Kommando-Wagen (radio car with wire antenna)-DONE!
A-Wagen (with quad 4x20 mm flakvierling 38 and one tower w/howitzer, my next target)
PanzerTragerWagen (flat car with PzKpfw 38 to be dismounted)
StossWagen (security car, flat car to detonate mines or carry supplies, rails, sleepers, etc)
Triebwagen Panhard 204 f (4 wheeled armored scout car ex-french army, with wire antenna)

Total is more than 136 meters long, 92 centimeters (36.25 inches) in 1/148 scale.

But there's more stuff to do: triebwagens, BP-44 trains, KsTn type trains, early war broad gauge trains, russian captured trains,.....

Regards

Luis

Hi.

With my K-Wagen and Schienenwolf 1/148 models and mounted on my railroad N-gauge design, the BP-42 is slowly but firmly growing like a steampunk worm...

Thats becoming a serious length of train!
Is it an optical illusion, or are the doors on the K-Wagon covered in splodges?

Hi.

Splodges? Did you mean spots or shadows? No, It´covered of clapets, windows, different details.
