Cafereo P-61K

Post by rmasu »

Since the Cafereo P-61 black widow had some nose/canopy issues.. I was thinking what to do with that kit..
So after see pictures of F15 recon version and discover the build 2 XP-61E prototypes.
I decided make a attack version like A-26K ..
I used Oz mods T-33 tip tanks, I also had t-33 canopy , but Martin choose another aproach.. using a Anigrand F-89 skorpion canopy as master I did a heat smash .
nose and tail are epoxi , bombs are from spare box as well the decals from Oz mods kits..
Well this P-61 was candidate to go in forgotten stash.. now I rescue ..from the dead

Definitely looks like a very feasible What If to me. As with all of your builds, Roberto, a beautiful completion. Love to see it next to Anigrand's F-15A Reporter.

It looks excellent. I had been thinking of something along those lines but without going to the extent of extensive surgery and a new canopy. But I have to say this is a better look.

Brilliant - and entirely feasible - great solution to the problem.
