Welsh Models - full list anywhere?

#1

Post by bootneck42 »

I like collecting and building WM vacforms and I was lucky enough to pick up a couple of early military kits recently, PJW9 Meteor and PJW10 Jet Provost. I am missing a few of the early numbers and realise I don't even know what some of those early issues are. Does anyone have a complete list all the WM vacforms that were produced please? I do know of one I am missing and that is PJW6 Javelin but I don't know what else there is to search for apart from the following:
PJW1 Canberra
PJW2 Hunter
PJW4 EE Lightning
PJW11 Hawk

Thanks

Mike

There's one here on the forum. Originally it was lost amongst the ebay and trades area - so, I have moved it back to the aircraft section and other manufacturs links.

I probably should do similar with the recent air spede posts (which I also have a sneaking feeling, there is another string of posts out there waiting to be found?)...

And the original list is right above the one you just found Martin:

I just merged them.

Thanks; I had forgotten my earlier post with a similar request. Of the earlier ones, I only seem to be missing the following:
3 - not known
5 - not known
6 - Javelin
7 - Attacker
13 - not known
14 - Seahawk
15 - Sea Vixen
17 - Swift
20 - Andover C.1
26 - Anson
Of the later ones, 37 Tristar and 41 Chinook have escaped me.

Thanks again

The codes were issued but the models not produced for the javelin, vixen , swift etc as the masters were made and models cast in resin. I have the Javelin in my collection, it's a mark 7. Densil ran me off some canopies as vacforms for the javelin, vixen and sea hawk. These adorn my anigrand and self cast javelin, airspede sea hawks and a Japanese resin Sea vixen.
