Sorry, pictures could be better. Rigging is all stretched sprue, different strength as far as possible and not painted iot keep it as thin as possible. Difference can be seen at the attachments, where a little bit of paint makes the difference. Some wires are still way to thick, they would probably scale out as a railing rather than a wire. I wanted all the rigging on this one . . .

Martin, this is scary. All of these new members are displaying exquisite skills and I'm getting extremely jealous!
Fritz, I have found the rigging available through Uschi van der Rosten excellent stuff for rigging. The company is run out of Augsburg which, as a 109 tragic, I associate with the type after reading William Green's book many years ago ...

Re: Hello from France!
Thanks for the link, didn't know it. Looks interesting, although I'm not sure whether it's thin enough for 144 - plus, I'm not feeling comfortable with elastics. Sprue you just position and let it dry, this stuff you have to hold for a while.? I'm using ZAP glue.smeg1959 wrote: ↑Wed May 06, 2020 2:27Martin, this is scary. Augsburg Eagle.jpg
As to the Augsburg Eagles: Yes, I know the book, although Augsburg is far away (European standards!) from my origins. And Hamburg, where I'm from, is rather known (if any) for the real big planes, back then and at present (BV Flying Boats and A380).
Apart from all that: by looking at the models at Uschi's website - that makes me drop my blade/brush and go for a glass of red wine instead - amazing!

Re: Hello from France!
Thanks for the warm welcome!
Found a couple of so far unknown features in the forum and many superb models - great community!
I didn't make too many photos of my models til now, so I think I should invest some time in finding an appropriate way - size is obviously a matter.
Until then here's another of the Revell Minis:
