As at 1 march 1945 when the first manned launch occurred. The test pilot, Lothar Sieber, was killed when the canopy flew off knocking him unconscious.Regards

This was never built so it's in a speculative prototype scheme. If it had flown it would have killed more people than Genghis Khan and his various descendants. Probably for the best, then.

Since I was in storageland (which logically enough is 265 miles from my work bench so requires some extremely delicate packing and a car journey fraught with worry that that pothole may have dislodged the Ryan's candy-cane probe or snapped the pitot from the Convertiplane) I assembled my VTOL completions on a new shelf which I will gradually fill out with the other experimental VTOL craft that I couldn't crowbar into the GB. Since it was quite fun to see them in one place I thought a photo here wouldn't be amiss...
