
These are fun little accessories that I'll add to some of the little dioramas I now seem to enjoy creating when I finish a kit.

Built these both today - probably 4 hours total.

Great fun - the trickiest part is probably removing the chassis from the pouring blocks without damaging it. A few air bubbles to sort but basically these were a quick blast. A tiny photo etch set does the Willys jeep and the German staff car too.

I did one in civilian guise one in military. I wanted the military one to look as though it had been driving along dusty Italian roads all day. May have overdone it but I've seen cars that dirty before so I'll live with it.

The civilian one has more chrome trim and I used silver decal strips to do this. Very satisfying to finish.

I think there's a probably better Fordor on Shapeways which has a separate interior and transparent windows, but then you'd have to spend more time prepping the surface.
