I have candidate kits for 10, but I'm still unclear on the meaning of CLASSIC OCEAN LINERS

Re: Group Build 14 and 15 - POLLS NOW OPEN
As it was one of his proposals, I’ll leave that for Mike to explain. I did wonder about a whole collection of 1/144 scale Titanics, Lusitanias, QE2s, etc.
There could be a point of law with my “15”. I was including the “NASA aircraft” on the basis of having Dragon’s Bell X-1 pairing in the stash but, of course, these fall under the banner of NASA’s predecessor, the NACA. So maybe it is 14, too.
Scarily, next to “1941”, my next biggest number of options fall within the “resin kits” category.

I’m at 17.
Like Tim I don’t really have much interest in airliners.
Post-cold war conflicts are also a struggle for me though I could rustle something up for early-1990s Angola with some research into what SA Mirages or Pumas were used there. Though given that conflict started well before the end of the Cold War, it’s pretty ambiguous!

Looking at the stash another way, the c-46 would fit into at least four on the list.

I could live with everything, maybe except the NASA/moon landing topic, not really my cup of tea.
For most topics (14) I have someting in my stash, if not, I would unfortunately
have to buy something. . .

Angus, the more I look into the “Post Cold War” topic (in an effort to find something to build if required), the more nebulous I find what conflicts do and don’t fit in. It is clear that some started well before the usually cited ending of the Cold War in late 1991, yet were still in full swing well into the mid-1990s and beyond.
Not wanting to tweak anything whilst the voting is still active, I guess it would be one of those discussions on a case-by-case basis if the topic gets up as a winner. We’ve had plenty of these before, with members arguing why a potential build should be included.
Oh, and you are definitely leader in the clubhouse with 17. Not that with the number of builds and the diversity of your output is this likely to surprise anyone!
PS. Found this Wikipedia page useful in determining who has been shooting down what in the last 30 years.

[Somehow resists temptation to call Smeg to claim lots and lots of fraud (all the fraud) and demand a recount in which Smeg finds more votes for NASA.]
