I think I would find a kit in my stash to match almost all of the proposed themes. The exception would be the C-46, which I don't have. For some of the other themes I would need to do some research to confirm, but I think I would find something.
And I have no idea about the Oceans Liners. If it means cruise ships, I can't imagine building one in 1/144. :o

Regards
Luis

[Somehow resists temptation to call Smeg to claim lots and lots of fraud (all the fraud) and demand a recount in which Smeg finds more votes for NASA.]

Is it too late to include an Orange theme? :P

or, a "ministry of space" category
which could have covered a multitude of sins: Spitfire, Lancaster, V-2s, Canberra, SR-71 , 1950s style colliers/von-braun/pegasus hobbies mash-ups, bare metal and pure whiffery. The main problem being only a handful of board members would have a copy of the book and there being no decals available   )

Seems like someone has already found more votes for NASA as it is now leading GB15. I have contacted Rudy and Donald to enquire whether this should be dealt with by the Supreme Court. :P

And David, remember that Merlin still has access to the forum and is an avowed enemy of the vacform!

Truly? The North Adelaide School of Art has aeroplanes?
I knew the University of South Australia had them while I was there, but...

I got my postgrad quals through the Uni of SA. Thank heavens I didn't major in Aviation because it would appear that the uni employed a butcher as Senior Lecturer in Aircraft Maintenance.

And just a reminder to one and all. 2 more days before we call the polls, with or without the fake votes ... :?

It's true Merlin doesn't do vacforms, but he is partial to resin fettling.

Very true. Actually, it would be great if we could entice him back for another GB.

And worth pointing out that the 38 votes so far recorded in the GB14 poll is definitely an all-time high, no doubt boosted by many of our newer members. 8-)

Just to be clear and put myself beyond reproach - I have only cast two votes, one in each poll!
