[Somehow resists temptation to call Smeg to claim lots and lots of fraud (all the fraud) and demand a recount in which Smeg finds more votes for NASA.]
Seems like someone has already found more votes for NASA as it is now leading GB15. I have contacted Rudy and Donald to enquire whether this should be dealt with by the Supreme Court. :P

And David, remember that Merlin still has access to the forum and is an avowed enemy of the vacform!
if there is a tie between "desert and nasa" will you be seeking to assess the legality of imposing martial law?

or, perhaps Angus will seek external aid from the El Presidente de Republica de los Bananas Tropico to overthrow the corrupt regime?

So true. I think many of us living outside of the US have looked in disbelief at what has been happening on the political front. The storming of the Capitol building today showed just how divided the nation has become, and at a time when the focus should be wholly and solely dealing with the pandemic. Sad, so sad. Let's hope cooler heads prevail.

On the far more mundane but at least "normal" issue of modelling, to my mind we haven't had a tie before so, if it happens, the best way of resolving it would be to hold a quick poll with just the two topics. That way, those who did not vote for either could indicate their preference. To keep things timely, the poll would only be active for, say, 48 hours.

Of course, one or the other of the categories could still be the clear winner, so let's see where we are come the close of voting. I'll call it at midnight GMT on 9 Jan, which is 11 o'clock Saturday morning my local time.
OTB ...
GB14 - CAC CA-19 Boomerang (KdK), PZL.37 B II Łoś (Amercom)
Shelf of Shame - Don Schmenk's F-100D (F-Toys) from GB9

That was tense, but thankfully the rule of
Law prevails.
Now back to our program.
NASA has a dc8, I believe I could manage that

how do i view the results without voting again?

The news this morning was quite remarkable ( it all unfurled overnight here)...

However, to view the votes cast - follow the poll links and then rather than "vote" click the "view" button and then you'll see a histogram of voting to-date.

we almost had a march on rome, but trump is no mussolini, so it failed like everything he ever muddles with.
because he is a lazy self involved child. throwing a tantrum at home in his bed rather than striding out front.

i see the view button now thanks.

And don't forget NASA's 747 as well!
NASA operated many other airliners. Among them were the DC-9, 707, 737, 757 and even the Russian Tupolev Tu-144, back in the 90's!
And there is the Gulfstream III used as a Shuttle simulator.
Lots of options to choose from. :)
