Hurricane K3083

The two decades between the First and Second World Wars saw major advances in all areas of technology. In military and civil aviation, flimsy wood and canvas biplanes and triplanes gave way to sleek all-metal monoplanes. The lumbering "land ships" of WW1 were replaced by maneuverable tanks and armoured cars. In this GB, anything that was developed and operated between 1919 and 1939 (but not WW2) is fair game.
Runs from 10 August 2019 to 26 January 2020.

Definitely think Sera would be enjoying seeing this one come to fruition so nicely. A big thumbs up from me. ;)

At long last I got a chance to use some very thin silver decal to do the canopy. So here we have the First and Last of the Many.

That's come up a treat. Next project for you is the first Spitfire prototype K5054. Or for a real challenge, its predecessor, the Type 224! ;)

And decals for canopy frames? Great idea! Hang on ... doesn't someone else here do likewise?!!! Actually, the control it gives you with alignment and the end result is well worth the effort. I just ensure that the decals will stay put by giving the canopy a coating of Future after application.

Beautiful work, congratulations! You definitely deserve a pat on the back and a glass of something good for that. I’m very envious too, as I’ve wanted to do that subject ever since I saw A.L. Bentley’s drawings - at the age of 14 :D

That’s pretty special. You’ve carried that off beautifully. Now, I must copy you, obviously.
