Feeling Glad All Over

The two decades between the First and Second World Wars saw major advances in all areas of technology. In military and civil aviation, flimsy wood and canvas biplanes and triplanes gave way to sleek all-metal monoplanes. The lumbering "land ships" of WW1 were replaced by maneuverable tanks and armoured cars. In this GB, anything that was developed and operated between 1919 and 1939 (but not WW2) is fair game.
Runs from 10 August 2019 to 26 January 2020.

I can't put it of much longer. It's strut time. I made a card template to get the right stagger and used some of Christine's pegs to hold them while the glue set.

The Upper wing is on, as are the landing gear struts. I'm not happy with the alignment. I think one lower wing has more dihedral than the other. Time to get out the set square methinks.

I had to take the port lower wing off and re-cement as the dihedral was too excessive.

The prop had the spinner taken of and after three attempts, the undercarriage is on.

I think now she is finished

Lovely work! You've nailed that David. Made much less of a meal of it than I did too. Perhaps I should try again.
