Recently found this model of the USS Thresher on sale at Hannants

At £108 it had better be REALLY good....

Also doing a USS Permit

http://www.hannants.co.uk/product/MVIT1402 at the same price. No previous experiance with Modelsvit. Anyone seen these.

Wouldn't mind at least one to go with the 1/144 Seawolf but at £108? Need to be really sure before I shell ouit that amount.

At 1/144 scale, your going to need some SERIOUS room to display this collection!!! Just you wait, the next is going to be a 688 boat...

Well I already have the three Revell German navy modern(ish) subs, the Seawolf and Kilo, the Chinese Type 33. Also the Mikromir 1/144 Piranha minisub.

Of course the Revell 1/72 Skipjack sub dwarfs them all.....
