Well actually I voted for the Harrier!!!
Anyway I have got hold of the Eduard MiG21 SMT. It is a very fine kit and so far builds like a dream.
Here are the obligatory sprue shots and some of the paints abused in making a non RAF model.
An explanation and more pictures to follow.

Its Revell Aqua Color Light blue code 36150. I have no idea how accurate it is just seems close enough from the pictures I have seen.

Re: The Pasta War 1980
Sorry its been so long in coming....
Anyway in events overshadowed by the Falklands crisis, the EU had a spat between Italy, France and Germany. The Italians wanted to reclassify French pate as skinless sausage, as you might imagine this horrified the Germans and things took a turn for the Wurst.
With the UK tied up in mid Atlantic only RAF Germany could react to the new crisis. To prevent tensions from boiling over, a covert operation to overfly Turin, was proposed. So that no blame could be placed before the French, Germans and Brits a MiG21 held by 92 Squadron after a defection in 1981 was used.
In an effort to prevent world war 3 the Mig was decorated as a 92 squadron machine.
Look I KNOW this is rubbish but I wanted a Harrier GB!!!!
