Alternate Scheme?

#1

Post by bluedonkey99 »

I had some feedback that last modern scheme was a "bit too bright" and weird?

What do people prefer the "modern relaunch scheme" or this "more traditional scheme"?
Note that the "feature upgrades" (Image Galleries and Post Previews etc) still work on this alternate scheme.

For some reason, I cant get the site logo to update properly.....

It does look a bit sterile, even clinically too clean, with no character.

The old "white minimal scheme" or this "shaded" current one?

Personal opinion, looks good compared to the older one. Though the older one wasn't terrible. :)

I think this is a very nice layout though I am more a modern plane builder 8-)

I really like this current scheme with the bold text and contrasty colors.

The only change I'd like to see is a single-click option to mark the board as read.

Love the new scheme. It makes it very easy to find headings and buttons and give some useful contrast.
There is a way to make the board read. When you are in a forum/ board with each topic listed on the top right there is a ‘mark board read’ button.

Peter

And we've got our 262 back! It's been a part of the scenery since the forum began, and it was odd for us old timers not seeing it residing in the top left hand corner of the screen. :D

I think I prefer this more traditional scheme. I find it easier to read than the modern scheme.
