Just a quick heads up that Hannants are now stocking the re-released Hunter and Chinook kits.

I think I'm going to wait for the Acaedmy Chinook boxing - more schemes and cheaper too!

had a chap on the stand at Tyneside absolutely convinced the Revell release was to be a new tool (given the Hannants price it should be!)

Anybody know for sure?

It's the same kit, (not that it needed much improvement), with even the same decals!
Fortunately, I still have a few schemes left on my Xtradecal sheet and the after-market is currently way more 1/144 Hunter-friendly than it was, when the kit first appeared. ;).
It's my madness that keeps me sane.

OOPs

Sorry I should have been more specific - the Chinook. Can't see why they would change it but the price does seem suspiciously high for a re-pop

At least it is exacly the same box, and I'd be very surprised if there's anything new in there. Better decals alone would mean a real improvement! ( of an otherwise good kit, imho)
Cheapest price I've seen in Germany is ~11.
5€ - ok for me.
