Description says "old ACE mold" which is the same as the Revell 04021 F-14A kit.
Also says Academy will have two decal options.
(The ACE release only has one VF-84 option.)
The Revell kit came with the options to do a VF-84 1981 and VF-84 1980 "The Final Countdown" movie.

Hope Academy does the ACE F-14B:

I know F-Toys released some F-14B's.

Also, turn the Revell EA-18G into a F/A-18F kit.

It's nothing new, but good to see these kits continue to circulate. Too many releases go OOP and become very hard to find again.

Scalemates family tree and listing provides some interesting lineage of the various F-14 in 1/144

Blame Final Countdown for that I guess!

Or maybe Macross

I would like to see more Wolfpack and Bounty Hunters scheme options personally..

The other marking option is for a VF-24 Fighting Renegades (CO's aircraft):

Most likely with the black tail (on the flight line at NAS Miramar):

NOTE: Triple Nuts decal sheet TN-032 has the same markings as one of four options (other 3 are for Super Hornets). KG144 alum Mark (mtcc75) has it for sale on ebay:
