The OV-10 is welcome but I wish they could have worked a way to do the long nose OV-10D. Be interesting to see if they use the same model again for the A-10.

I don't understand the sense of the use of Versus series for this release. Maybe it was more appropriate a Volume in the Work Shop series.
The most worrying thing is the progressive abandonig of the WWII theme...
No more space for Russian, France, Italian planes? Or minor types?

It's really not that hard of a conversion. The interesting part is how they do the exhaust manifold. The early one is a simple 45degree exit. The latter one has an actual cool air scoop/heat exchange. Then you have the elongated nose, with the FLIR, and the IR jammer/disco light on the aft deck.

Not certain I love the massive locating pins on the Bronco canopy... Perhaps we will see vacform replacements from Brengun? Shame as otherwise it looks very nice indeed.

I don’t know much about A-10s but some of that surface detail is very nicely done I think.

Also great blog BD - thanks!

The locating lugs on some F-Toys releases is a bit of an issue IMHO. I know they are trying to make gashapon as push-fit as possible but hey, there's still plenty of parts that need glue anyway. And I'm sure they have PVA glue in Japan. Much more forgiving with clear parts than CA.

And if Brengun are looking into expanding their vacform canopy range, I'm fast building up a production list to aid them! ;)

Just ordered a box of each type from Radsan (1b, 2a).
He also has specials: a NASA Bronco and a drone Warthog (of which I have never heard of, unless it is an A-10PCAS)

The special at Radjapan sold out in 2 hours on Friday, but he restocked today.

I read elsewhere that the A-10 is the same model as eight years ago.

I got my set today. The A-10 model is the same mold as Workshop Attackers collection.

A brief comparison of the A-10s painted in the Euro 1 scheme, I have to say that the Workshop collection paint job is better. The VS12 paint scheme was more glossy. But still a nice additons to the collection

Brengun had been quietly supplied with F-Toys c(r)a(p)nopies by Marek, and they responded with incremental release of vac replacements. However - as far as I know- Bronco is nowehere on the road map at the moment.
Mankind has perfect record in flight. We never left one up there.
