Packets on board. Return home

Still in nostalgia, a metal kit cast by Mr. Chaubet at my express request on the basis of a resin kit from Petersplanes, which I assembled and decorated as one of the first Supermarine Walrus in 1/72 from Airfix .....

PS: Sorry Smeg, although it is a seaplane, I did not place it in the FAA GB, because it is an RAF aircraft....

β€œOi. Who are you calling a packet?” After the tot of rum.

Very good and lovely to see one of these finished. Beautifully done.

Very nice! I do remember the old Airfix kit, too. I was ten or so, when I built the first one . . .
Particularly love the wake you made, love it!

Both the aircraft and the vignette are gorgeous! I had that exact boxing of the Airfix Walrus as a youngster, though my dim recollection is that I struggled with aligning the wings. Peter Hawkins did indeed release a resin Walrus, now long OOP, back in the days of Peter's Planes. Lovely to see it essentially reborn in white metal here. ;)

I like it!
The base looks flat; is it a photo with added (painted) wake?

A lovely build there - securing and alignjng metal biplane wings does not seem like it would be fun!

I have no merit for the base.
These are Coastal Kits bases for waterline ship models, which I recut, then hollowed out to fit the model.
