Need some advice, got a good weathering tip, discovered some great paints or tools?

Just communicated exactly that to my Cathay Pacific pilot brother in Hong Kong. Why is it that when we're young 'uns, we build 1/72, 1/48, 1/32 and, if we were really wealthy or had extremely large shelves, 1/24. Now that we're in the twilight of our lives, with eyesight, manual dexterity, etc. all deteriorating at a rate of knots, we choose to specialise in 1/144. At this rate, I'll be making those 1/350 scale Trumpeter aircraft when I'm 80 years old.
